About West Bridgewater, MA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
The small residential town of West Bridgewater was first settled in 1651 and officially incorporated in 1822. It is home to the Reverend James Keith Parsonage or simply the Keith House. The home was built in 1662 for the first settled minister James Keith. Because the area was a colonial outpost, this house was also used as a garrison.
West Bridgewater had both agrarian and industrial roots. Because of its location on the Town River, there was abundant power for milling and irrigation. Today, because of easy highway access and the availability of land, the town has a vibrant commercial, warehouse and industrial base.
The Hockomock Swamp and its wildlife management area cover a large section of southwest corner of West Bridgewater. Other protected areas, several parks and a state forest add to the beauty of the town.
West Bridgewater has its own school system that serves students from pre-kindergarten to high school. Vocational and private schools are also nearby
